Parent Resources

Parents and families are partners in the success of our youth having a fun and memorable experience playing soccer. We are the support systems for players to learn resilience, perseverance, teamwork, self-regulation, sportsmanship, and respect, both on and off the pitch. We parents are the adult role models who they look to for direction and guidance. More often though, we are learning as we go in how to support our student-athletes. So if we are to support our youth, we must educate ourselves and model behaviors we want our youth to emulate. Resources are available to help us!

These videos aim to help us parents understand what to expect when placing our child on a soccer team, and to clarify our role in fostering a positive and productive youth soccer experience.

Asking ourselves these questions help prepare us for what we will experience in this journey and help us be intentional about accepting our role in it.
