Children's Soccer Coach

Coaches Corner

Enthusiastic and positive volunteers are needed each season to coach youth soccer teams.  Coaching a team of youngsters can be a tremendously rewarding experience, giving you the opportunity to help young players grow and learn, face new challenges, and experience both success and tribulation.

NOW Recruiting Coaches for the 2025 Recreation League Season!

No prior coaching experience necessary! As a youth soccer coach, you will be provided resources and support to help you succeed. Some resources can be found below. If you have a child playing, you can coach his or her team!

Thank you so much coach for giving your time!

We deeply appreciate our coaches and volunteers for their unwavering dedication and commitment in investing their time. Whether you are embarking on your coaching journey for the first time or are a seasoned returning coach, it is essential for all coaches and volunteers to fulfill the four mandatory risk management requirements for the current seasonal year. The only requirement that can carry over if you coached or volunteered the year prior is the Livescan. All other prerequisites must be completed annually.

To assist in this process, Cal North Soccer has provided step-by-step guides for each requirement, designed to facilitate a smoother clearance process and get you onto the field quicker!

Please begin these requirements below

on June 1st to be eligible for the 25/26 season.

All coaches must complete a Livescan, Background Check, complete the SafeSport, and the Intro to Safety training.

Click on a requirement below to learn how to complete.
